GOM PROPRETE – Aligning the people to the corporate vision
In 2006, GOM PROPRETE, French subsidiary of a Dutch group, European leader in the industrial cleaning sector, decided to launch Step a significant project designed to simplify its clients’ activity by providing them with a range of services that are tangible, recurrent and sustainable. Step will eventually gather and mobilise everyone around the corporate ambition of “becoming an attractive and essential actor”.
Akor Consulting’s assignment
The project roll-out was time-framed. We started out by interviewing managers and team members in order to take stock of the current situation and draw up a report for the management board. After raising awareness about the current climate and management practices, we have challenged the board about its vision in order to make it accessible at all levels.
During the team building sessions that brought together managers and team members alike, we helped share the corporate vision and highlight the benefits of Step as well as everyone’s responsibility for its success. Workshops around action plans, management seminars and individual coachings of key actors helped turn the Step project into a real success.
